BRISA’s software testing laboratory has achieved world maturity level, equivalent to the best laboratories around the world.

Started in 2006, BRISA’s software testing laboratory turned out to be a world reference among several R&D centers.

After many evolutional processes, BRISA’s laboratory concentrates great value on human capital and is enabled to plan, execute and monitor tests related to software of any degree and/or application.

Formed by a multi-disciplinary group with competencies such as PMP, Cobit, ITIL and CTFL (ISTQB) as well as analysts experienced with English, Spanish and French languages, the results of our laboratory have surpassed the expectations over the last years, performing tests on software for mobile devices, notebooks, web systems, user manuals and TVs.

With great maturity and experience, BRISA’s analysts promote great add value taking part in the process by planning testing activities, helping to define the best strategies which optimizes the work, directing the specialized use of human resources towards the correct testing activities, reporting the errors in a clear way, directly and provided with the necessary information support which allows the development group to use their time exclusively on solving the presented errors.

The global factor, on which we take part, have brought the obligatoriness of adequating the IT fields with such a new reality, the use of control methodologies and optimization of software processes (CMMI, ISO), ability methodologies on the development of software and hardware (XP, SCRUM, DSDM, FDD) and the use of specific methodologies for testing software (ISTQB, IIST, TMap, QAI), has turned out from a luxury status to a competitiveness need for most of the companies. The Testing field is already a reality as an ‘investment’ and not just as an ‘additional cost’, playing a bigger role in the process of producing a software and hardware product.
